What information can EXIF reveal?
EXIF can reveal GPS coordinates, camera make and model, shooting date and time, aperture settings, and editing software used.
How do I remove the metadata I find?
Use the Remove EXIF Metadata tool (linked in Related Tools below) to strip all tags before sharing.
Why do some fields show as unknown?
Not all cameras write every EXIF field, and some editing software strips or rewrites EXIF. Unknown fields were simply not written by the originating device.
