Bulk Metadata Remover

Strip EXIF metadata — GPS location, camera model, timestamps — from multiple images at once. Upload an entire folder of photos, process them all in one click, and download a ZIP archive of clean images. Nothing ever leaves your browser.

All processing happens locally in your browser. No data is uploaded.

How It Works
  1. Upload any number of JPEG, PNG, or WebP images using drag-and-drop or the file picker.
  2. Adjust output quality (92% recommended — visually identical, slightly smaller).
  3. Click Strip Metadata from All. Each image is drawn onto a canvas and re-exported — this inherently discards all EXIF, XMP, and IPTC metadata.
  4. Monitor progress in real time. Failed files are reported individually.
  5. Download a ZIP archive containing all cleaned images.
How metadata is stripped: Each image is drawn onto an HTML Canvas element and re-encoded as a fresh JPEG/PNG/WebP. The browser's canvas encoder never writes EXIF data — only raw pixel data is preserved. GPS coordinates, camera info, thumbnails, and all other metadata segments are discarded at the binary level.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many images can I process at once?

There is no hard limit. Very large batches may be slower depending on your device memory.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. All processing uses the HTML5 Canvas API locally. No images are transmitted to any server.

Will the output images be compressed?

Images are re-encoded at 92% JPEG quality, which is visually lossless. The canvas redraw strips all EXIF data automatically.

Can I process PNG and JPEG files together?

Yes. Both formats are accepted in the same batch. All cleaned files are downloaded as a ZIP archive.
